Philanthropy

The Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity at the University of Florida is actively involved in philanthropy, focusing on initiatives that benefit both the local community and larger causes. One of their primary efforts is their involvement with cancer research and treatment support through events such as PIKE Halftime. This event raises money for the Chomp Cancer Fund which goes towards cancer research and treatment. Another major effort is PIKE Tide Slide, which raises money for Dance Marathon, which raises funds that go to treatment for children in the area. These events not only raise significant funds but also foster community engagement and awareness. Overall, these efforts create a positive impact by addressing pressing needs, building a spirit of unity, and instilling a lifelong commitment to service among fraternity members. This year, we were able to raise $60,000 through PIKE Halftime, making us the highest donating fraternity at UF! We were only able to achieve these amazing results through the help of our numerous alumni and brothers, and we hope to keep winning!

House Rennovations

The Pike Fraternity Alpha Eta chapter values our generous alumni support especially in renovating our fraternity house. Renovations are crucial to maintaining a welcoming and functional space for current and future members, fostering a strong sense of community and brotherhood. Your contributions will help us create an environment that honors our traditions while providing modern amenities. The A. Frank Entrepreneurial Center and Legacy1904 will be the shining gemstone of the Pike house, and goes to show exactly what can be accomplished with your help and our dedication! Together, we can ensure that the Pike house remains a cherished home for generations to come.

Pike University

The brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha want nothing more than to bolster our attendance at Pike University and show out in Atlanta as a chapter. We want to be the best at everything we do, and to prove that the Alpha Eta chapter is one of the best in the nation, and the way to do that is to get as much of our chapter to Atlanta as possible. We would greatly appreciate any contributions that can be made to help get as many brothers to Atlanta as possible!

Founded in Room 47 West Range at the University of Virginia in 1868, Pi Kappa Alpha has since grown into one of the world’s largest and most respected fraternal organizations. The key to this growth is simple: a steadfast commitment to developing men of integrity, intellect, achievement, and strong moral character, all within a truly lifelong brotherhood. Our members leave a lasting impact on their campuses, communities, and beyond, embodying values that enrich every stage of life. We believe that the fraternal experience shapes better men—men who must uphold the legacy of Alpha Eta well after their four years.
